Grid-connected installations
A photovoltaic installation is an excellent opportunity to become an energy producer, whether it is installed on your own home, on a roof or terrace, on the roof of an industrial module or on the ground as an installation commonly referred to as a solar plot.
When the photovoltaic installation is close to a grid connection point, it can be connected to the grid by means of an inverter that transforms direct current into alternating current. This system, once the legal procedures have been carried out, allows the owner of the installation to sell energy produced by the installation to the local electricity company in accordance with its official rates.
In some countries, electricity companies pay a premium for the production of photovoltaic solar energy.

Additionally, with the aim of promoting our products and developing the photovoltaic market, Siliken developes photovoltaic plants (commonly known as solar farms or parks) for third parties. Siliken participates or retain shares in these turnkey projects.
-
The roofs of industrial units are an ideal location for photovoltaic installations, as electrical consumption is normally restricted to the daytime, which is when the energy is produced.
-
Private homes can also benefit from a photovoltaic installation on the roof or architecturally integrated into the building as part of the facade, a skylight, pergolas etc.
